Hyun is the solo project of Justin Lee, a Korean American recording artist, producer, and designer based in Northern California. Lush production, soul sensibilities, and lilting vocals evoke atmosphere with songs that dive into themes of escapism, relationships, and personal histories.
He’s influenced by the sonic explorations of pioneers like D’Angelo, Jai Paul, and Nujabes and the fluid storytelling of Frank Ocean and Stevie Wonder. Originally from Stockton, CA, he spends his time between California’s Bay Area and the Central Valley.
